Airport Inspection

Martin has performed airport inspections for 25 years and has operated as a Joint Inspection Group (JIG) Inspector for over two decades. He has airport operations experience ranging from single tank and bowser operations in the Australian outback and small commercial airports in the Pacific & Caribbean Islands to North American aviation facilities and international hubs, such as London Heathrow, Ezeiza Partido Buenos Aires & Changi Singapore. Martin was the Senior Inspector and Trainer at ExxonMobil and the Coordinator of ExxonMobil’s Global Airport Inspections Program.

As an accredited JIG Senior Inspector, Martin can perform inspector sign-off services under the JIG Inspect to JIG Standards (IJS) Program. During his tenure as chair of the JIG Operations Committee, he was part of the team responsible for developing and delivering the IJS training. Martin also served as an accreditor for JIG Inspector applicants and oversaw the review of candidate inspection reports. As such, he gained a thorough understanding of the report requirements for a successful JIG Inspector applicant.
